Inline Skater Robs Valley Craft Store

A man wearing inline skates used a gun to rob a Spokane Valley craft store Friday night, according to police reports.

He entered Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts, 12205 E. Sprague, at about 9 p.m. and threatened the clerk with a small black pistol. The clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect left the store, police reports said.

The suspect is described as white, between 20 and 30 years old, 6 feet tall with brown hair. Witnesses told police he was wearing a blue baseball cap, knee-length shorts and inline skates.
