Huddle Up For Area Stats

The Spokesman-Review has joined forces with Sportshuddle.com, a company based in St. Louis that provides the means for newspapers to compile statistics in a database and post the information on the newspaper Website.

Now, when a school representative phones The Spokesman-Review with information about a football game, the statistics will go into a database that can produce standings and statistics. Some of that information will run in the newspaper. All of it will be available on The Spokesman Review’s Website.

If you want to know who won the big game the same night it’s played, you can check The Spokesman-Review Web site. The result will be posted as soon as we receive the information.

With football teams in the Border League and the Greater Spokane League, team and individual stats will be available. For all the teams in our coverage area, fans will be able to access standings, review games and check out schedules and rosters.

Since this is a new project, we will be working out some kinks. We are starting with football and volleyball, but intend to add all the sports in the winter and the spring. To connect to the site, point your browser to www.spokane.net/sportshuddle.
