Liberty Lake Launch To Close

The only public boat launch at Liberty Lake will close for the season this Saturday.

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is closing the launch at the north end of Liberty Lake at 10 p.m. on Saturday, which is the last day of fishing season, said spokeswoman Margaret Ainscough.

Boats must be out of the water before the gates close that night unless the owners have made arrangements to use someone’s private access to the lake, Ainscough said.
