Evey Changes Role At Cyan

From Staff

Former ESPN executive Stuart Evey has been named director of community affairs for Cyan, the Spokane game-making firm.

Evey, 66, had been Cyan’s first director of strategic planning.

In that role he helped Cyan develop outside connections with established entertainment and communications companies.

That goal was accomplished with the recent announcement that Cyan has a working deal with Creative Artists Agency of Los Angeles.

CAA will identify possible partners to help Cyan grow into a larger-scale media firm, said CEO Rand Miller.

Evey’s new role will be to establish stronger ties with area educators, civic groups and companies.

“I’d like to think I accomplished what was asked of me, to help Cyan develop connections with others in the media and entertainment industry,” he said. “I will focus now on helping Cyan work more closely with the community.”
