Life net demonstration

Members of the Spokane Fire Department gave a demonstration of their lifesaving skills in June 1944. The demonstration, which included a fireman jumping into a life net, was viewed by a large crowd in downtown Spokane. The demonstration was presented to raise awareness of the fifth war bond loan drive, which had just begun.
