Neighborhood updates

Eastern Washington University and the Greater Hillyard Business Association will present free seminars to assist neighborhood businesses.

The seminars are open to all businesses and individuals, inside and outside Hillyard.

Marketing and financing will be discussed on Aug. 16 and 30, respectively. Seminars are from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Northeast Community Center, 4001 N. Cook.

Neighborhood Council meeting

The Comstock Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sacajawea Middle School, 401 E. 33rd Ave.
