Eastern Washington Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing – A volunteer is needed at the resource center related to hearing loss. Epilepsy Foundation Washington, Eastern Regional Office – “Epilepsy: OUT in the OPEN Walk” is Oct. 2 at 8 a.m. at the Mirabeau Parkway North Trailhead. Hospice of Spokane – Volunteer to work with clients in their final stages of life. Prepare meals, do light housekeeping or just be there for company. Training starts in September and October. For information, call Jim at 456-0438 or e-mail jedwards@hospiceofspokane.org.
