When Washington voters go to the primary polls Sept. 14, they’ll see something completely different.

In Spokane County, voters will be asked to choose from three single party ballots or a nonpartisan ballot.

Also, they’ll make important decisions in big races, including a hotly contested primary for the Spokane County Commission.

The Spokesman-Review is planning coverage in the newspaper and online.

County Commission race. Today, we look at the crowded race for two spots on the Spokane County Commission. A chart detailing candidates’ positions on key issues is on Page B7.
