CdA grad among five players to sign for NIC women

North Idaho College announced the signing of five to play women’s basketball in the 2004-05 season.

Juli Pearson, a Coeur d’Alene High graduate who already committed to play volleyball for the Cardinals, is transferring to NIC from Brigham Young University-Hawaii.

Jeni Boesel, a Brewster High grad, is transferring to NIC after playing one season at the University of Portland. The daughter of Washington State B star Roger Boesel, she scored more than 2,700 points during her prep career.

Ahlee Thomas, who graduated from Mountain View High in Bend, Ore., is transferring to NIC after one season at Umpqua Community College in Winchester, Ore.

Beth Knudtsen, an Issaquah (Wash.) High grad, played one season at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.

Kim Tanascu, a graduate of Gardiner (Mont.) Junior-Senior High, originally signed with Montana State University-Northern out of high school.
