Somebody needs you

The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane.

If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated

•Low-income single mother with 2-month-old needs a crib with sheets and bedding. Contact Margarita at Summit View Apartments, 324-9161.

•Disabled woman needs a couch. Contact Joanne at Catholic Charities, 327-6368.

•Single mom with 18-month-old needs a toddler bed, dresser, queen bed, couch and loveseat, highchair and kitchen table and chairs. Contact Britney at TLC, 326-1393.

•Low-income disabled male needs a bed and a vacuum cleaner. Contact Pakou at Aging andLong Term Care, 458-2509.

•Low-income family needs kitchenware, vacuum, towels and dressers. Contact Belle at American Indian Community Center, 535-0886.
