Support M’s Melvin

The Sports page (Aug. 14) showed a picture of a Mariner fan hold a sign saying, “Give back ‘Ole’ Please take Melvin.” Bob Melvin is not the reason for this year’s decline. He is a very capable manager with all the tools necessary to lead the recovery. We are fortunate to have him, and encourage fans and reporters to support him.
