Artist plans front-yard display

The Spokesman-Review

A local painting instructor will show his work in an unconventional place: his front yard.

Jim Weisen plans to display more than 50 watercolors under his maple trees at 1613 S. McCabe Road, on Saturday. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Some of the paintings will be for sale while others are Weisen’s favorites.

Weisen graduated from the Minneapolis School of Art in 1948 and has been doing watercolor ever since. He teaches a watercolor class for the Institute for Extended Learning.

For more information about the show, call Weisen at 924-1313.
