Two arrested on burglary charges
Two men were arrested on burglary-related charges Saturday after allegedly being seen breaking into a business.
Witnesses called police after seeing a man run from Affordable Motors, 312 S. Dishman Road, about 9 p.m. The business’s alarm went off, drawing the attention of two people who were driving past the closed business, according to the Spokane Valley Police Department.
The witnesses followed the alleged thief to a nearby gas station, where he hid behind a service counter.
Valley police officers arrested, Lucas M. Haynes, 25, 915 N. Cannon St. Phoenix S. Aragon, 23, 2332 W. College Ave., was also arrested. Aragon reportedly acted as the lookout, police said.
Nothing appeared to have been stolen from the business.
