Grief Share group starts next month

A new class designed for people struggling with grief will begin in September at Mirabeau Chapel.

The Grief Share weekly gatherings will be part information seminar and part support group. The meetings will be at 7 p.m. every Tuesday beginning Sept. 6 and last for 13 weeks.

The cost is $12 for materials. Reservations are requested. Call 926-8978 to register or for more information. The church is at 2001 N. Pines Road.

Ice cream social

Opportunity Christian Church will host its annual ice cream social Sunday at 6 p.m. The recurring event features homemade ice cream, cookies and games.

The church is at 708 N. Pines Road.

Christian musician to perform

Pianist and songwriter Jaime Jamgochian will perform in concert Sept. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Valley Church of the Nazarene. She performs contemporary Christian music.
