Monday’s interleague game

The Spokesman-Review

White Sox 9, Phillies 8: Timo Perez bunted in the go-ahead run and Joe Borchard hit the longest homer in U.S. Cellular Field history to help Chicago beat visiting Philadelphia.

The game was a makeup of a June 10 rainout and the White Sox’s victory clinched interleague bragging rights for the A.L. this season, 127-125.
