Boys and girls basketball begins this week with non-league games around the area. Kettle Falls hosts Selkirk tonight, while Freeman travels to Liberty and Newport visits Priest River Friday night. Non-league action continues through December. … Freeman will represent the league Saturday in the Gridiron Classic at the Tacoma Dome. The Scotties were 6-0 in league play and have won their three playoff games by an average of 16 points.
