Holiday Elegance Open House – The Southside Senior Activity Center, 3151 E. 27th is presenting this event with music, caroling, door prizes and appetizers, Dec. 10 from 4-7 p.m.. Tickets are $6.50 and are available at the front desk of the center. For information, call the center at 535-0803.

Medicare Prescription Drug Discount Card and Transitional Assistance – Elder Services and Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington is offering counseling about the new Medicare Legislation. Many seniors may be eligible for a free discount card and $1,200 toward their medications. If your yearly income is at or below $12,569 for singles and $16,862 for couples you could be eligible.
