When Kinza arrived at the Second Chance Pet Rescue, she was a bit on the chunky side. Like many Labs, this purebred loved two things: exercise and food. Her prior owners did fine supplying the food, but not so hot on the activities. She came in at a whopping 90 pounds a year ago. Her foster mom keeps her busy on outings to the lake, where Kinza loves to swim and is learning to retrieve. She’s reduced to a fit 55 pounds. She was treated to a two-week obedience camp and mastered the art of leash walking, but still needs reinforcement in the sit and stay department. She is sociable, healthy and loves a country setting where there’s room to roam. For more information, call 664-4106 or visit www.secondchancepetrescue.petfinder.com.
