Student Advisory Council seeks member from business community

The city of Spokane Valley created a Student Advisory Council this year, and now it needs someone from the business community to serve as a liaison to the group.

The volunteer position has a one-year term.

The council meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. It studies youth concerns and makes recommendations to the City Council.

Student Advisory Council bylaws will be discussed at Tuesday’s council meeting, 6 p.m., at City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave.
