Scarves available at Joel

Due to a reporting error, incorrect information was listed in a feature on locally made gifts in Sunday’s IN Life section. Sherrie Holland’s hand-knitted scarves are available from Joel in downtown Spokane, rather than by phone.

Anchor size incorrect

The anchor chains on the USS Missouri Memorial at Pearl Harbor are 1,080 feet long. Because of a reporting error, the chains were described incorrectly in a story in Sunday’s Travel section.

Survivor omitted

Due to a reporting error in an obituary that appeared on page D5 of Friday’s paper, a survivor was omitted from the obituary of John Buckley. He is survived by his sister, Alice Buckley of Spokane. A corrected version appears in today’s IN Life section.
