Economic summit to be held

Spokane County officials are encouraging the public to attend an economic development summit on Wednesday.

About 300 economic development and community leaders have already been invited to attend the forum in the Davenport Hotel’s Grand Pennington Ballroom. It will run from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The summit will include several panel discussions as well as audience participation centered on identifying the region’s economic development goals and how they can best be achieved.
