Story misstated institute’s status

Due to a reporter’s error, a story in Wednesday’s IN Food section incorrectly identified the Institute of Extended Learning as a program of Spokane Community College. The IEL is its own educational entity. It, Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College make up the Community Colleges of Spokane. The story also included a misspelled name. Claudia Pobst is the IEL’s community education manager.
