Flights will aid Wishing Star

The Spokesman-Review

Reindeer won’t be the only thing flying this holiday season.

Some lucky residents will have the chance to see area holiday lights by helicopter.

Two flight packages will be raffled off by Wings for Wishes, and each package will accommodate three people. The money raised will be used to take children to their wishes granted by Wishing Star Foundation.

Currently 36 of the 70 wishes are unfulfilled because of transportation costs.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Pilots Place gift shop at Felts Field. The shop is west of Fancher Road in the Western Avionics building at 5505 E. Rutter Ave.

Tickets also can be bought at the Wishing Star office, 915 W. Second Ave.
