Wrong address for Cromer memorial fund

Due to incorrect information provided to the newspaper, the address for the memorial contributions in the Saturday obituary for Blanche Cromer was incorrect. Memorial contributions should be made to the Hillyard Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, 2121 E. Wabash, Spokane WA 99207.

Spinal disc isn’t region’s first

A story Saturday described the recent implantation at a Coeur d’Alene hospital of the Northwest’s first government-approved artificial spinal disc. Inland Neurosurgery and Spine, of Spokane, has already installed more than 20 artificial discs from a different manufacturer, though none of the discs has been approved by federal regulators. The practice expects to begin installing the sole government-approved disc early next year.

Wandermere misspelled

Due to a reporter’s error, Wandermere was misspelled Monday in a story about transportation funding.
