Idaho soccer coach Busey steps down
Arby Busey, soccer coach at the University of Idaho the last three seasons, has resigned, Vandals athletic director Rob Spear announced Monday.
Busey joined the UI staff in 2000, the third year of the program, and became head coach following the 2001 season when Larry Foster resigned. In three seasons, Busey had an 8-40 record, including 3-14 this past season.
“Arby displayed a tremendous amount of class in his three seasons as our head coach,” Spear said. “He recruited quality student-athletes and was a great ambassador for our department and the university.”
