John Lucas and Joey Graham each scored 21 points and No. 3 Oklahoma State set a school record with 15 3-pointers in a 92-35 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State on Tuesday night.

The Cowboys (9-0) scored their first 21 points of the second half on 3-pointers and led 65-25 over the Rangers (5-4) after JamesOn Curry hit from the top of the key.

Curry’s 3-pointer sparked a 13-0 run that Aaron Pettway capped with a steal and dunk. Curry’s next 3-pointer – taken after he moved a step back on a fast break – was the team’s 14th of the night, breaking the record set against Providence in 1993 and matched against Nebraska in ‘94.

(4) North Carolina 93, Vermont 65: At Chapel Hill, N.C., Rashad McCants bounced back from a brief benching to score 19 points and Sean May led the way with 20, helping the Tar Heels (9-1) beat the Catamounts (3-3).

(14) Arizona 105, Manhattan 75: At Tucson, Ariz., Salim Stoudamire matched his career-best with seven 3-pointers and had 23 points for the Wildcats (8-2) in their win over the Jaspers (4-3). Stoudamire was suspended for Saturday’s win at Marquette because of his pouting in the previous game against Utah, when he was held scoreless for the third time in his 101 college games and took a career-low one shot.

(16) N.C. State 72, BYU 61: At Provo, Julius Hodge scored 22 points and Tony Bethel added 15 as the Wolfpack (9-1) bounced back from their first loss of the season with a victory over the Cougars (2-8).

(17) Iowa 83, Texas Tech 53: At Chicago, Adam Haluska matched his career-high with 21 points, Pierre Pierce added 15 and the Hawkeyes (10-1) routed the Red Raiders (5-3), giving Steve Alford his first coaching victory against Bobby Knight. It was the worst defeat for Texas Tech since March 9, 2002, when they lost 90-50 to then-No. 1 Kansas in the Big 12 tournament.

(18) Louisville 80, IUPUI 60: At Louisville, freshman Juan Palacios had career highs of 25 points and 10 rebounds and the Cardinals (7-2) overcame two key injuries to beat the Jaguars (4-5) in the first round of the Billy Minardi Classic.

(23) Michigan St. 76, UCLA 64: At East Lansing, Mich., Paul Davis scored 18 points and the Spartans (7-2) had a big run in each half against the Bruins (6-2) in winning their fourth straight.

Oregon State 67, Prairie View 63: At Prairie View, Texas, Nick DeWitz scored 20 points for the Beavers (7-3), who took a big halftime lead then held on to beat the winless Panthers (0-8).
