The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane.

If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

• Low-income family needs a love seat, queen mattress, twin bed and a full bed. Contact Belle or Esther at the American Indian Community Center, 535-0886.

• Mother with four children needs twin bed, full bed, and dining room chairs. Contact Belle or Esther at American Indian Community Center, 535-0886.

• Low-income mother with one child needs a fan, two dressers, coffee table, toy box, small dining room table and chairs, desk with chair, VCR, dish rack, bookshelf, bedding for full-size bed, tricycle, booster seat, blender, and a small table with chair for child. • Low-income family of seven needs two twin beds with mattresses. Contact Gail at SNAP, 487-1114.

• Disabled female needs a washer and dryer and a large recliner. Contact Colleen at ALTCEW, 458-2509, ext. 254.

• Single mother with two children needs a crib, kitchen table, cooking utensils and a baby gate. Contact Jennifer at SNAP, 456-7106, ext. 116.

• Single mother about to give birth needs adult bed of any size, changing table, stroller, pots and pans, bassinet, small dining table and chairs and a small coffee table. Contact Wes at Partners With Families, 473-4829.
