Liberty upend Sting

Becky Hammon scored four of her 17 points in overtime Tuesday to lead the New York Liberty to an 80-74 victory over the Charlotte Sting in Charlotte, N.C.

The win gave the Liberty a 3-0 season sweep over the Sting, who have lost three straight, and prevented Charlotte from tying Indiana for the Eastern Conference lead.
