Pink flamingos will aid mission trip
The junior and senior high youths of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8441 N. Indian Trail Road, have found a unique fund-raiser for their mission trip to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, next summer.
Under the cover of darkness, groups of four or five of the youth group members place flocks of pink flamingos in unsuspecting recipients’ yards.
The flamingos generally stay in the yards for two or three days before they migrate to the next recipient’s yard.
If you would like to send a flock to that special someone, call Bonita at 465-2799.
