Volunteer

St. Vincent de Paul Spokane – Volunteers are needed to sort and hang donated clothing, Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the location at 2901 E. Trent. Volunteers are also needed on Aug. 7 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the same location to help pull weeds, touch-up paint, and pick up litter. Pizza and beverages will be provided to volunteers on both days. Mukogawa Fort Wright Homestay Program – Families are needed to volunteer their time and homes to Japanese students during the Homestay Weekend, Aug. 20-22.Call Marlene at 328-2971, ext. 210.

Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest – Two volunteers are needed to create and update forms using Microsoft Word 2000 at the downtown Spokane office building. Must be at least 18 years old. Call Rachel at 344-0161.

Greater Spokane Substance Abuse Council’s Prevention Center – General office help is needed for filing, typing and answering phones. Teens are welcome. Call Marilyn at 922-8383.

Health Improvement Partnership (HIP) – General office help is needed to answer phones, direct guests, update lists, make copies, etc. Call Nora at 444-3088, ext. 210.
