Yes, you will be seeing a lot more of Anna Nicole Smith

Evelyn Green King Features Syndicate

Q: Is Anna Nicole Smith coming back to her reality series, or is it over now that she’s lost all that weight? — Louanne E.

A: Smith is not only coming back next season, she’s added two new careers to her already busy schedule. She will be starring in a feature film, and will soon introduce a new line of clothes she designed herself.

Q: There used to be an actor named Richard Boone who starred in a series about a gunman for hire. Do you have the name of that series? Also, was he related to Pat Boone, the singer? — Robert H.

A: Richard Boone starred as Paladin (the name comes from an old English word meaning champion of justice) in the series “Have Gun, Will Travel.” Paladin always charged his clients a lot of money for his services so that he could afford to have a box at the opera in San Francisco and serve champagne and caviar to his lovely lady friends in his hotel suite.

Boone was once asked if he was more like Paladin, the gun slinger, or Paladin, the suave, music-loving, silk-dressing-gown-wearing gentleman, Boone answered, “I’m more like me.”Apparently all the show-business Boones — Richard, Pat and Brendon (“Garrison’s Gorillas”) — are related to ole Dan’l himself, making them kin to each other.

Q: I have a few questions about Charlize Theron. First, I read that English was not her first language. What language did she originally speak? Also, is she related to the late dancer Juliet Prowse? If so, how? — Rita K.

A: Oscar winner (for “Monster”) Charlize Theron first spoke Afrikaans, a language developed from the 17th-century Dutch spoken by South African settlers from Holland. (Her parents, however, were not Afrikaaners: Her mother was of German descent, and her father of French origin.)

Although Theron had once planned to be a ballet dancer, and considered the South African-born Juliet Prowse one of her idols, the two are apparently not related.

Q: Whatever happened to Tori Spelling (“Beverly Hills 90210”), who seems to have disappeared? Did she give up acting? — Sue G.

A: Tori Spelling has agreed to do a pilot for UPN called “Me, Me, Me,” which is about a couple of New York women (Spelling is one of them) who use their female “assets” to climb the social ladder in the Big Apple.
