Buddhist Temple plans sacred gongs presentation
The Spokane Buddhist Temple is hosting “A Calling of Angels with the Sounds of Sacred Gongs.”
Many ancient cultures believe that these sacred gongs bring angels. Bring a pillow and blanket and enjoy the presentation by Richard Hite.
Hite is a licensed therapist and has used his gongs in hospitals and clinics to help with the healing of many different health problems.
This event includes an introductory talk to the temple’s workshop, “Sacred Sounds & Healing Wisdom: The Holopathic Way to Wholeness, Integrating Eastern Wisdom and Western Science,” which begins on June 11 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The workshop continues on June 12 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and concludes on June 13 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Learn yoga-based exercises for pain, tension and stress, soak in skills to change unhealthy addictions and desires, and make healing entertaining.
The cost for this three-day workshop is $175 or $20 for the concert alone.
For more information, call Kent Moline at 536-2987 or Connie Stout at 536-7181.
