Traffic stop leads to drug count

The Spokesman-Review

A 35-year-old Spokane woman was arrested Saturday night after Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies found methamphetamine, scales, packaging materials and cash in her car during a traffic stop in downtown Spokane.

Deputies David Ellis and Beau Vucinich spotted a burgundy Dodge headed east on Third Avenue with an obscured license plate, said Cpl. Dave Reagan, sheriff’s spokesman.

They stopped the car near Third and Walnut and identified the occupants, one of which was Debbie L. Flock, 2702 W. Boone Ave.

Flock initially gave Ellis a false name, but he later learned her real name and that she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest charging her with first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Ellis arrested Flock and, upon search of the car, found three small baggies of meth, 62 similar but empty baggies, drug scales and $150 cash, Reagan said.

Flock was booked into the Spokane County Jail on the warrant and a new count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. self end
