Responsibilities of Lakefront Property Ownership – The Washington State Department of Ecology presents three workshops designed to help property owners and real estate agents become aware of the responsibilities of keeping shorelines healthy and natural. The first is aimed toward Lake Spokane residents in Stevens County and meets from 6-9 p.m. today at Lakeside High School. The second is for residents in on the Spokane County side of the lake and will meet from 6-9 p.m. on June 16 at the District 9 Fire Station in Nine Mile Falls. These first two workshops are free. The third workshop is aimed towards real estate agents and will meet from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on June 17 at the Spokane County Conservation District office, 210 N. Havana.
