Second Annual Cycle Against Poverty – This event to raise money to fight local poverty will be held on the recently opened Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes Saturday. Volunteers needed for Panhandle Health District project – 500 people are needed to participate as “mock patients” during a public health emergency drill at Sandpoint High School Saturday. The drill will test the district’s ability to mobilize and operate a mass smallpox vaccination clinic in the event of a bioterrorism attack. If you are interested in helping, call 676-1751.

Pig out in the Park and Ninth Annual June Bug Craft Faire in Harrison – Barbecue pork and smoked turkey dinner will be served starting at 3 p.m. Saturday until the food is gone, in the city park.
