Spokane YOUTH Volunteers – The United Way Volunteer Center is organizing projects for youth, ages 11-18, this summer at various nonprofit agencies. Catholic Charities Volunteer Chore Services – There are opportunities to volunteer yard services such as lawn mowing, clipping and weeding for low-income elderly and adults with disabilities in Spokane, Spokane Valley and vicinity. Teens under 16 must have adult supervision. For information, call Tom at 328-8400.
Children’s Home Society, Northeast Region – Help assist at special events and other fund-raising activities. Call Jan at 747-4174.
