Veteran’s age, status clarified

Due to incorrect information provided to the newspaper, a brief in last Thursday’s newspaper listed the wrong age and military status of Thomas M. Troudt, who died in a traffic accident. He was 56 and retired with honors from the U.S. Air Force.

Car d’Lane schedule incorrect

The Car d’Lane swap meet will be held Saturday at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds and the demolition derby will be held Sunday. Shuttle service to the fairgrounds will only be available Saturday. The dates and shuttle information was incorrect in a story Thursday because of a reporting error.

Portion of story omitted

Because of a copy editing error, a story about a public comment session on Superfund cleanup of Silver Valley mine wastes was inadvertently cut off before the end in Thursday’s newspaper. A story on page B2 in today’s edition includes the missing information.
