Somebody needs you
The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.
The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane.
If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.
• Low-income senior female needs air conditioner. Contact Erica at ALTCEW, 458-2509, ext. 261.
• Low-income senior male needs electronic reclining lift chair. Contact Erica at ALTCEW, 458-2509, ext. 261.
• A homeless mother with children would like a twin stroller. Children at homeless shelter would like a kiddie pool and pool toys. Homeless mother needs a car seat (infant to toddler). Homeless women are in need of Internet- accessible computers. Contact Pam at St. Margaret’s Shelter, 624-9788.
• Low-income disabled woman would like an electric typewriter. Contact Debbie at Tekoa Care Center, 284-4501.
