What’s a Flintstones plate worth?

Larry Cox King Features Syndicate

Q: I have a Melmac dinner plate that features all of the Flintstone characters. My son thinks it might be worth something? — Cynthia, Rustburg, Va.

A: The Flintstones started life as the first adult prime-time television cartoon series. The Hanna-Barbera characters made their debut in 1960 on ABC and continued on network television for six years. Your plate isn’t listed in the current edition of “Hake’s Price Guide to Character Toys” by Ted Hake, but a collector says it would retail for about $20.
