Marilyan Cotter, employee of Sears, Roebuck and Co., reported Thursday the $500 theft of a power drill kit from the business at 200 W. Hanley Ave.

Kootenai County sheriff

Craig Morris, Spokane, reported Wednesday $300 damage to the ignition assembly and the $834 theft of stereo equipment and miscellaneous compact discs from a 2000 Mazda Protegé while it was parked on the 10800 block of Skylark Lane in Hayden.
