Spokane County Commissioners

Tuesday, 10 a.m., weekly briefing with county’s CEO, Spokane County Courthouse, 1116 W. Broadway Ave. Agenda includes a Cheney-Palouse trail system.

2 p.m., weekly meeting on non-hearing items, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, lower level, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave.

5 p.m., meeting on hearing items, including Spokane County cable franchise, Commissioners’ hearing room.

Spokane Public Facilities District

Tuesday, 12:30 p.m., district office, 720 W. Mallon, convention center expansion and other business.

Light Rail Steering Committee

Wednesday, 9 a.m., Spokane Transit Authority northside conference room, 1229 W. Boone Ave. Agenda includes status report and project funding.

Spokane Historic Landmarks Commission

Wednesday, 2 p.m., City Council briefing center, City Hall, review of register nominations for Five Mile School and East Side branch library, 25 S. Altamont.

Spokane City Council/Community Assembly

Wednesday, 4 p.m., Spokane Downtown Library, joint meeting of neighborhood representatives and City Council members.

Spokane Parking Public Development Authority

Thursday, 11 a.m., fifth floor conference room, City Hall, operation of River Park Square parking garage and related issues.

Spokane Valley City Council

6 p.m. Tuesday, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave.

Spokane Valley Police spokesman Cpl. Dave Reagan will train the Council in how to deal with media. Presentation is open to the public. The Council also is expected to go into executive session, which is not open to the public.
