Resort’s prices misstated

Eagle Nook Wilderness Resort and Spa on Vancouver Island, B.C., offers an all-inclusive package called the Ultimate Wilderness Adventure. The three-night offer for four people costs $11,142, or $3,714 a person. The seven-night package for four costs $20,808. Because of a reporter’s error, an item in the May 9 Outdoor and Travel section indicated that the higher figures were the per-person cost.

Smoot is association’s secretary

Steve Smoot is now the secretary of the Spokane Farmers’ Market Association. Because of a reporter’s error, a story about area farmers’ markets in the Wednesday IN Food section included the title he held last year.

Schrom’s name misspelled

Because of an editing error, Patricia Schrom’s name was misspelled in a Wednesday story about a Supreme Court hearing on a suit filed by Schrom and another fire department worker seeking pensions that the state provides for volunteer firefighters.

Jorgenson won Idaho primary

Mike Jorgenson won a three-way race in the Republican primary for the District 3 Senate seat in Idaho. He defeated incumbent Kent Bailey and Clyde Boatright, a former state senator. Because of an editing error, a story in Wednesday’s newspaper misstated the outcome of the race.
