Place the blame squarely on the year for Pullman and Colville’s inability to advance out of the first round of the state football tournament. Since the GNL’s creation in 1997, no team has won a state tournament playoff game in an even year. Conversely, a GNL team has won at least one game in every odd year . … At the State 2A volleyball tourney, Pullman finished seventh and Colville eighth. Riverside lost in the State 2A girls soccer quarterfinals.
