Miss Spokane Valley applications available

High school juniors are invited to apply for the 2005 Miss Spokane Valley Ambassador Program.

In addition to a $1,000 college scholarship, the Miss Spokane Valley Ambassador represents the community at special events such as grand openings, parades and speaking engagements. Two runners-up each receive $500.

The competition will held March 19, the Saturday before Spokane Valley’s Mayor’s Ball, at the West Valley High School auditorium.

Applications can be picked up at the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce office, 9507 E. Sprague Ave., or in the counseling offices of all Spokane Valley high schools.
