Kootenai County sheriff

Charles Bouttu, Athol, reported Tuesday the $5,170 theft of a 1979 GMC 2500 pickup, a videocassette recorder, chain saw, television, four tires and rims, work lights, a snowblower and generator from his home on the 16300 block of Sheep Springs Road near Athol.

Gene Danley, employee of Kootenai Electric Cooperative, reported Wednesday the $530 theft of electrical services and $94 damage to an electric meter at a home on the 18350 block of S. Rew Road near Worley.

Steven Loken, owner of Ace Paving and Excavating, reported Monday the $14,278 theft of cash from the business checking account when unauthorized transactions were made.
