Day of eruption wrong

A Friday By The Way column about the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens should have said the volcano erupted on a Sunday and people delivered the paper the following morning.

Couple’s wedding year incorrect

Because of incorrect information provided to the newspaper, an anniversary announcement that appeared Sept. 25 in the IN Life section for Jack and Mardelle Shagool contained the wrong year of the couple’s wedding. A correct announcement appears today in the IN Life section.

Railroad show date wrong

The day for the Railroad Buffs Model Railroad Show at Spokane Community College was listed incorrectly in the Events listing in the 7 section. The show will be Sunday only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
