Rainy Day Workshop – For children ages 5-12. Sponsored by Spokane Parks and Recreation, this class will teach kids to make clay and stickers for the next rainy day. The class meets from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The cost is $21. For more information or to register, call 625-6200.

Juggling for Beginners – Presented by Spokane Parks and Recreation, this class for kids aged 10-13 meets on Oct. 19 at Adams Elementary School, 2909 E. 37th, from 6:15-7:15 p.m. The cost is $9 and participants are asked to bring three tennis-ball-sized round objects. Before- and After-school Programs – Educational and fun programs are available at the Northeast Youth Center, 4001 N. Cook. Transportation to and from some local elementary schools is available and state pay is accepted. Includes a USDA approved snack.
