Crash headline incorrect

An Oregon woman was killed when she pulled her car in front of a school bus and was hit broadside. Due to an editing error, a headline in Wednesday’s newspaper indicated her car hit the bus.

Hoops practice closed to public

Gonzaga University’s first women’s basketball practice of the 2004-05 season will not be open to the public, as reported in Friday’s Sports section. GU officials said today’s practice in the Bulldogs’ new $25.1 million McCarthey Athletic Center cannot be open to the public because parts of the arena are under construction.

Obituary incorrect

Because of a clerical error, the wrong service date was listed in Friday’s obituary for Dr. Ernest “Ned” Gnaedinger. A full obituary can be found in today’s IN Life section.

Wrong location in obituary

Because erroneous information was provided to the newspaper, Friday’s obituary for Richard “Beard” Rawlings listed the wrong location for the service. A full obituary can be found in today’s IN Life section.
