Name: Ray Verbrugge

Age: 50

Hometown: Coeur d’Alene.

Family: Verbrugge reflects his Dutch heritage; his parents were from Holland. He was born in Canada and has been a United States citizen since he was 8 or 9 years old. He is married to Lucretia, who is from Hailey, Idaho, and they have two boys, Nolan, 4, and Derek, 8.

Occupation: Ray is a nursing student at North Idaho College, and when he’s not in classes, he’s a stay-at-home dad.

Favorite food: Ray likes to cook and especially likes Italian food.

Wheels: He drives a dodge “daddy” van.

Favorite music/film: Ray enjoys blues, country and classical music. He enjoys movies but doesn’t have a favorite film.

Fun time: This weekend he is going to go for a run and study.

Halloween costume: For Halloween Nolan is going to be a Power Ranger and Derek is going to be Thomas the Tank Engine. Ray is not sure what his costume will be, but the kid’s are working on a secret costume for mom.
