Pair withdrew from lawsuit

Rog and Toni Hardy have withdrawn from a class-action lawsuit filed in 2002 against Silver Valley mining companies and the Union Pacific Railroad. Because of a reporter’s error, a Thursday story said they were still plaintiffs in the lawsuit.

Test scores incorrect

Test scores for East Valley Middle School were incorrect in a graphic in the Valley Voice Thursday detailing the results from the Washington Assessment of Student Learning. Due to a reporter’s error, scores from 2003 were transposed with scores from 2004. Students at the school actually increased their scores in math and reading this year.

Wrong date for judgment

A cutline in Thursday’s Spokesman- Review misstated the date of a jury’s $6.3 million judgment against the Aryan Nations. The judgment was handed down in September 2000.
